Booking T&Cs/Cancellation Policy
Please read this policy carefully before booking your retreat.
We require a £200 deposit in order to hold your place on retreat.
Deposits are non-refundable. In some instances, dependent on circumstances, we may transfer your deposit to a future retreat. If for any reason we need to cancel the retreat, we will return any payments you have made to us.
Please note that in order to hold your place, even after a deposit is paid, we require you to return your post-booking questionnaire and signed Terms & Conditions within 7 days from the date of sending them to you. We send these forms to you as soon as you book. This is because we need information about your experience and medical conditions before we can accept you on retreat. It is crucial that you disclose any possible medical contraindications on this form, as it could be dangerous to participate in ceremony if not. Non-disclosure of relevant health information, whether physical or psychiatric, can invalidate your travel insurance and cancel our contractual obligation to you.
Your T&Cs must be signed so that you have legally confirmed your disclosure, and that you are willing to take responsibility for your own health. This means researching any health conditions you have, and their possible indications with plant medicines. We are not Doctors and although we know a lot, we can not guarantee to know of all possible contraindications with illnesses or allopathic medicines.
If we do not receive this information within this time frame, we reserve the right to cancel your place. We will remind you before we do so, so that you have ample opportunity to return your forms to us. If this is still not done, we reserve the right to cancel your place and the deposit will be non-refundable.
In instances where your place is only booked in the 7 days before the start of the retreat, we require your forms to be returned to us immediately. If we find that there are health contraindications listed on your form at this time, we will need to cancel your place but will return your deposit. However, if you do not return your forms to us within 5 days from date of booking, the deposit will be non-refundable.
If you cancel your place on our retreat within three weeks of departure, we will be unable to offer a refund. If you cancel between six weeks before departure and the three weeks prior to departure we will offer a refund of 50% of the full price. If you cancel prior to six weeks before departure then you are eligible for a full refund, less the deposit.
However, as our retreats are often fully booked, if we can fill your place with an attendee from our waiting list, even within the 3 week period, we will do our best to do this. If successful, we will give you a full refund.
We suggest you take out travel insurance as soon as you book on our retreat, as this will cover you for cancellations.
We do not accept any liability for:
Participant cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control, participants' medical or psychiatric conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the holiday, loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.
These conditions protect both us and yourself from possible health issues on retreat, and as you can imagine, it is very difficult for us to run a business effectively without these terms in place. We cannot waive our cancellation policy or be liable for loss of your expenses if you are unable to travel to the retreat. Thank you for your understanding.
